Community Stand Down–Style Outreach
Agora Vets organizes and participates in community outreach events designed to bring multiple forms of assistance together in one place.
These events may include:
Food, clothing, and basic supplies
Health and wellness screenings through partner organizations
Resource navigation and referrals
Employment, workforce, and reintegration support connections
Our approach is practical, respectful, and centered on dignity. Veterans choose what support they engage with and when.
Supplies & Survival Support
As part of our outreach events, Agora Vets provides essential supplies to veterans in need, including seasonal survival gear such as blankets, clothing, tents, sleeping bags, and other basic necessities.
When supply quantities are limited, items may be distributed through free, no-cost drawings to ensure fairness and dignity. Participation is voluntary, and there are no requirements beyond being a veteran in need.
