Who We Are

Agora Veterans Outreach is a veteran-led, community-based organization focused on bringing veterans back into connection with people, services, and opportunity after the uniform comes off.

We exist for veterans navigating transition — especially those who feel disconnected, overlooked, or left behind. Our role is not to replace existing programs, but to create welcoming spaces where veterans can reconnect, be seen, and take the next step at their own pace.

What We Do

Agora Veterans Outreach organizes veteran-focused outreach events and Stand Downs that bring essential services together in one place. Our role is coordination — creating welcoming, low-barrier environments where veterans can voluntarily connect with support that meets them where they are.

Each event is structured to ensure access to the core service areas required for veteran stability and reintegration, including employment and workforce services coordinated with the local American Job Center and veteran employment specialists; health and wellness resources such as medical, behavioral health, and substance use support; housing and homelessness assistance through referrals to shelter, transitional housing, and housing stability programs; veterans benefits counseling and referrals provided by accredited service officers and veteran-serving organizations; and basic human needs support such as food, clothing, hygiene items, and seasonal survival supplies. Peer connection and community presence are central to every event, creating space for veterans to reconnect without pressure or obligation.

In addition to these core services, Agora Veterans Outreach is intentionally open to a broad range of veteran-serving programs and resources that support safety, stability, and well-being. This may include, but is not limited to, emergency communications access such as Lifeline phones, legal aid referrals, transportation assistance, education and training resources, financial counseling, and other community-based supports. We welcome collaboration with organizations whose work aligns with veteran dignity and care.

Agora Veterans Outreach does not provide all services directly. Instead, we bring together trusted partners, service providers, and veteran-led organizations, offering the structure, coordination, and space for support to reach veterans in a way that is practical, respectful, and accessible.
